Gary also took the kid to the states for his so-called "summer camp"; and they were even once trying to get the junior hs kid from si-yuan hs/rhp-chiang to go this summer as well by lying to the kid that he's "invited to join red sox's fall camp" some shit...

Those are all facts and just like the website states: don't you dare to act like chickenshit if you are part of it!!!台灣人的阿扁https://www.blogger.com/profile/14465478500193224917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-36442002178885531562009-04-13T09:05:00.000-07:002009-04-13T09:05:00.000-07:00I know none of the people above, and I don't know ...I know none of the people above, and I don't know anything about the Red Sox minor league staffs, and anything likewise, either. When CCF did not get enough opportunities with the Dodgers, we criticized the Dodgers heavily. I believe all interpreters, except for you, would do everything they can to help the Taiwanese players, and they are not agents. Some interpreters have given up good jobs just in order to serve as interpreters. Based on your comments and thought process, you do not have any business to claim yourself wanting to help Taiwan baseball. If I were a player, I would not want someone like you to be my interpreter. All your criticisms about the players only do harm to Taiwan baseball.

I do not think Red Sox front office would be happy about your actions here. What happens in a clubhouse should belong there. I would bet Red Sox would never rehire you.

Your initiative was to criticize Mr. Chen but I can tell you are the worst of all based on your childish, immature, and unprofessional comments. I do not think anyone could be as childish, immature, and unprofessional as you. The post I made almost three weeks ago was regarding Gary with what he wanted me to do against team rules, and what kind of bossy, extremely rude person he is.

When I work with the Red Sox, I am in the Red Sox community and family, not Taiwanese baseball, if you want to be extremely unfair to everyone, from the team who hired you, to other players (over 200 Minor Leaguers that you met) in your time then you could go ahead and follow Gary's program, but that's you, not me, if people like you could put any players over team and organization, then Manny should never been traded with all the antics he had, right?

There are certainly lots of people who have no problems of putting players over teams as you would have, they are called sports agents or in a real case, as someone like Basilio Vizcaino, or a “buscon” which is a middleman who often trains players in Latin America with the hope of getting a share of the money if the athletes sign with major league organizations. They don't work for the team. Does the name Esmailyn Gonzalez ring a bell in the back of your mind?

And I already mentioned this, if anyone disliked me because I wasn't willing to give them extra benefits compare to Gary, or help them lie to the coaches when they refused to do what the team required and have the team found out in the end which force them to have the coaches let them know if they do it again it will be a $20 fine (in multiple instances), then I have no problem of being the guy that's being disliked. The players were not the problem, everyone knows they were being mislead from the start, with extra promises and special treatments that no teams in their right mind would do so. You ever thought about how the Latinos, that makes up over 50% of the roster in the rookie league would felt? Every player is just as important as one another, apparently you have really failed to see that.Frank's Field of Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18040266115868901391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-64369654780512574532009-04-10T17:18:00.000-07:002009-04-10T17:18:00.000-07:00To Frank's Field of Dreams,Like Wen said above, yo...To Frank's Field of Dreams,

Like Wen said above, your comments are extremely childish and unprofessional. Everyone has had issues with jobs, no matter what field you are in but complaining in public forum like you have done is just total immaturity. Grow up and learn to be an adult.

I do not think you understand the Taiwanese baseball community. Majoriy of the people chose to work as interpreters because they want to help and work with the players, much more than they want to do for the MLB teams. Majority of us Taiwanese baseball followers value our Taiwanese players more important than the MLB teams. Players are the main component of Taiwanese baseball, no players, then there would not be Taiwanese baseball.

I guess based on how proud you are of the job you did, you should really receive the "Interpreter of the Year Award." Getting disliked by 4 Taiwanese players it is no easy task by an interpreter. You really deserved this award.

It is unfortunate that our world just happens to have crazy people that have nothing else better to do but do childish complains like you.

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03545950196606081353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-53631417575257970822009-04-10T03:52:00.000-07:002009-04-10T03:52:00.000-07:00Roy,Again as the previous posts, you mentioned how...Roy,

Again as the previous posts, you mentioned how I did the minimum I have to do for my job descripion? I did what I "suppose" to do, that is after consulting with Craig Shipley, Dave Tomlin, player of development Mike Hazen.

You said I am more interested of personal career advancement, rather than helping young players from Taiwan to succeed in their career? Well, it is the players' choice of not attending English class session, rather talking to Gary on MSN, it is the players' choice of not tipping hotel van drivers, where in the end Dave Tomlin drove us and maybe another co-worker or two to eat just about every night, and when Tomlin indeed went out to eat every night after he finish his daily report, lots of times the players chose to order Chinese delivery instead so they can stick on their computer (where they don't tip the delivery man either and I have to end up calling different places), I don't see how I didn't help their transition to the US.

You should have wrote it more clearly, instead of saying I put myself ahead of Taiwanese baseball, it was "players" instead of "Taiwan" you were mentioning about. I already said no player(s) is more important than one another, so there is no way I am going to put the players ahead of team/organization.

If you are Roy Gao, then I am sure you did whatever you considered as helping the players' transition, which were to break team rules. Red Sox strictly had a policy for players that based in Fort Myers to never spend a night outside of the team hotel rooms (not even if their family come visit and have a room elsewhere), well, Wang-Yi Lin told me and showed me pictures of this Roy Gao took him to a weekend trip at Disney World in Orlando, and stayed with his friends back in the summer of 2005 that he knew in the area. However it isn't just what I would've done, and when you want to put the blame by saying, oh you put yourself ahead of Taiwanese baseball, or should I clairfy again that it should've been a Taiwanese player, then go ahead.

How much Gary is doing for Taiwanese baseball, lots of people still waiting...

I do know that in order to be a certified agent recognized by MLB, you must have one player signed that make the big league, so "maybe, possibly, likely" that is what Gary is doing, bringing as many players as he can to showcases for about 5-7 MLB teams, then signing as many as he can then see if one of them can ever make it.

Agents works for players instead of team, you do realize I am not an agent, right? Agents obviously have done a lot more than what I have in "baseball", so more power to them?Frank's Field of Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18040266115868901391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-8110811998486444262009-04-09T12:56:00.000-07:002009-04-09T12:56:00.000-07:00I am a personal friend of Gary and I got to know a...I am a personal friend of Gary and I got to know a couple of the players mentioned in Frank's letter through him. I agree with Gary that I DID hear complaints from the players about how Frank treated them that summer. Yes, maybe you were just sticking with Red Sox instructions and did the minimum you have to do for your job description, but you put yourself ahead of Taiwanese baseball: you were more interested in personal baseball career advancement, rather than helping young Taiwanese players to adapt to the American environment and succeed in their baseball career. Maybe you just can't put yourself to the players position: going to a new country that speaks a different language and have a different culture, while trying to develop baseball skills and learn at the same time. Don't forget who you are and why you were there. I can't say how much Gary did for Taiwanese baseball, but Frank my friend, you did way less than he did.Roy Yanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10884905439624873334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-91154054956665299652009-04-09T02:28:00.000-07:002009-04-09T02:28:00.000-07:00You ever thought about doing the same for yourself...You ever thought about doing the same for yourself? your "just a simple phone call...are you that lazy or easily fooled?" call the coaches and you would've your answers on my work habits, instead of keep trying to say I didn't work hard enough and make up a story of how there was a replacement coming in when you knew the fact I quit because I didn't want to put up with your antics anymore. Oh wait, Dave Tomlin doesn't welcome your call, since he indeed said had you called him and wanted to know what's up with the players, he would've just told you to GTFO because as a scout, you're not part of the player development.

It is clearly that in your mind, I didn't work hard enough, just for you, since I followed the Red Sox's instructions and program, instead of yours. Had I done everything you said, and quite lots of them are against team rules, you would never called me lazy, right?

We are still trying to get an answer of how have you "helped" Taiwan baseball, I know being a scout, then agent later on, you got a couple players signed to play Minor League ball, hosted a few kids at your house the last few summers, including at least two pitchers this year, but other than being a scout and agent in the Taiwan area, where you are getting paid as a job for both being a scout and agent, what other stuff have you done to help out voluntarily? Does making cold calls or randomy message junior high school players in Taiwan telling them you can help them achieve their dreams consider as one of them?

Let's just both do our best to help out Taiwan's baseball. Additionally, if you questioned whether I tried hard enough, I don't think the front office would have talked to me about fall instructional league, and 2008 season in Greenville when I first told them my intention of leaving in June, why would they keep any employee that didn't tried hard enough, and again, why would Dave Tomlin told Shipley that I was "an asset" when he wanted Tomlin's input toward the end as I was leaving?

I could have put more names other than the coaches/rovers, however lots of former players and co-workers who I still maintain online contacts that was on the 2006 GCL team is released or no longer working with the Red Sox, Peter, I am sure you really enjoyed working with the Red Sox and soaking in every moment you had under the sun, so did I, because the team treated me and other employees well with lots of respect.Frank's Field of Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18040266115868901391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-47149949582518961062009-04-08T09:48:00.000-07:002009-04-08T09:48:00.000-07:00Hi Frank,I am not going to reveal the name of the ...Hi Frank,

I am not going to reveal the name of the person and the comments themselves because it's unnecessary and unprofessional to do that. It is the players' responsibility to follow team rules that I explained to them, if they choose to skip regular English classes in order to chat with Gary on MSN, it is their fault. If they don't tip the hotel drivers when they want to go Wal-Mart, to cause the driver refuse to take them to places, it is their fault. I am not sure what extra stuff you want me to do for the players, but I am certainly sure it is the extra benefits and personal errand runs that Gary wanted me to do, if Chiang is not going to be willing and ask that if I can go to the post office with him, I have no responsibility of go knock on his door and ask, Mr. Chiang, may I take your PSP to the post office by myself, so I can mail it to your friend Gary in California.

Who's "we" by the way? I am not responsible for your misunderstanding while reading the context.

I got my facts straight when the three players chatted in the dugout during one of the GCL games, they talked about how they spend the previous summers in your house, and your supply of entertainment movies.

You added getting hated by players is the most damaging thing to one's character/reputation, however you do not realize that no player(s) is above the team, Manny was one of the players who wanted to be treated differently and much better than anyone else on the team, after he was traded, he said the team didn't treat him good enough and he hated Boston, should the organization be blamed for it? Is it anyone else's fault that he pushed the old secretary down. Also, once again, you do not understand that I work for the team, not you, or the players that you spoiled and made lots of promise of extra benefits to, if they disliked me because I wasn't willing to give them extra benefits compare to you, or help them lie to the coaches when they refused to do what the team required and have the team found out in the end which force them to have the coaches let them know if they do it again it will be a $20 fine, then I have no problem of being the guy that's hated. They also hated the long conditioning program Red Sox had compare to Taiwan, should trainers be blamed for it when the players hated their request of running laps and do weights? Shipley told me there was no need for me to run errands on their behalf.

There will be no problem of hearing Shipley's evaluation on me, and I am sure you are aware that he only spend about two weeks (one during ST, another during GCL season) down in Fort Myers, so he don't know how much stuff you have done behind his back, anyone is welcome to ask Shipley and any other coaches/rovers/staff members...particularly GCL Red Sox coaches Dave Tomlin/Walter Miranda/U.L. Washington of how I performed, because they were there everyday from Spring Training through end of GCL season.

What you have done to help Taiwanese baseball is no one else's job to elaborate other than yourself, pinning the responsibility on bunch of teenagers showed how much you have to say to back up your "helps" overall, instead only on players who you can benefit from.

I told the truths behind the scenes solely on Gary Chen's true personality, if you feel it tied down on "Taiwan" and "baseball" then that's your personal opinion, and how are you going to make a statement of "I know the reason why you left and your statement is not true" when at the beginning you said "I am not affiliated with Dr. Chen or RS" Again, anyone can feel free and ask the coaches on the GCL squads of how I performed, right now it is extended Spring Training, so the coaches are there everyday from the morning until the games ended in the afternoon around 3 - 4 pm, so anyone who stop by Fort Myers be sure to go there and check out the truth.

Before my request of asking Gary of how much have he really done for the Taiwanese baseball community, and also giving out inside information of my first-hand experience with him on this site, there were already other people that have questioned Gary's integrity and character, which is not a surprise. Even the site blogger received different stories of his talk with Tsao's agent, Mr. Lee.

Just a few examples:

Gary Chen, 錦輝說他跟你不熟,請你閉上你的尊口,不要再用他的名字在外面招搖撞騙
2009/2/23 下午 2:38Frank's Field of Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18040266115868901391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-56067168833250389312009-04-07T17:54:00.000-07:002009-04-07T17:54:00.000-07:00To Frank's Field of DreamsFirst of all, I am not a...To Frank's Field of Dreams
First of all, I am not affiliated with Dr. Chen or RS and am not baseball professional. I just wanted to let you know if you truly love Taiwan and truly love baseball, then please stop BSing on this blog. Instead please help the baseball industry in Taiwan that are in danger now. We need people who are giving not complaining. That's all I have to say.
I know the reason why you left and your statement is not true, so please stop your childish actions and start acting like an adult, if you really love baseball.GoBaseballhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12144797476163308759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-61431732564732709042009-04-07T17:09:00.000-07:002009-04-07T17:09:00.000-07:00Reputation in the Taiwanese baseball community? I ...Reputation in the Taiwanese baseball community? I suggest you start with the players rather than a blog. Getting hated by players is the most damaging thing to one's character/reputation in the Taiwanese baseball community in case you don't know. Frank, get over it, you made my life miserable because the players had issues with you everyday. When I called them yesterday they still didn't have anything good to say. I care about them so I had to act certain ways. The players are the biggest part of the baseball community. STOP making false accusations of me taking Chiang and Wang-Yi Lin's money. Be smarter, call the players. Call Shipley and ask about your evaluation since he was the boss. I urge you to do these things before you continue your ONE-SIDED STORY.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11858475651911428015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-51851160571729439962009-04-07T14:31:00.000-07:002009-04-07T14:31:00.000-07:00作者已經移除這則留言。Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11858475651911428015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-24271530999313853512009-04-07T13:40:00.000-07:002009-04-07T13:40:00.000-07:00It's good that you admitting to your guilt about y...It's good that you admitting to your guilt about your false accusations, that shows how credible you are. I am not sure why you seem like conflicting yourself about saying you made false accusation and at the same time saying me getting angry about "truths." I actually don't really care about all your other stuffs but I do get very angry about your false accusation. Furthermore, I haven't seen any others making this kind of false accusation against me online. For the people that contacted you and yourself, I suggest you do some proper investigations, which only takes a simple phone call to the players, before making obnoxious and improper statements like that. Also, Wang-Yi Lin was the only 16 year-old player that has stayed at my house before and what you said about happening at my house was completely untrue. When Chiang, Huang, and Lin had you as interpreter they were all over 18. Get your facts straight and don't make false accusations, won't help your credibility in your attacks against me. I assure you get your facts straight. You can ask Shipley about his thoughts about your performance. You can also ask other interpreters if they feel like they are/were servants to the players, I think they all enjoyed their jobs and relationships with the players. If it's your passion to attack people online and tell your ONE-SIDED STORY that's your right but you should get your facts straight and don't make false accusations.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11858475651911428015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3808490137121007323.post-41710809426338346712009-04-07T10:56:00.000-07:002009-04-07T10:56:00.000-07:00The ball is in your court, so it is your call, I h...The ball is in your court, so it is your call, I have no problem with it, it is you that is getting angry and embarrassed over some truths being leaked out, and I assure you, I will have quite of few more stuff related to you that I have not mentioned it just yet.

Also, I don't care who suspended CTBA, you can try to make me look like I am someone raw compare to your "experienced" service time with Taiwan baseball, but schools were indeed suspended, if you consider that as a "help" to Taiwan baseball, then there are nothing further need to be said.

Once again, I made no accusations that I know to be false. If I am wrong about you receiving money from players, then I am wrong. I am only restating what has been said online and by numerous other people that contacted me. You can drag this as far as you want, I look forward for the entire Taiwanese baseball community knows what kind of person you really are after all this ordeal.Frank's Field of Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18040266115868901391noreply@blogger.com
